Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in claims processing or a similar role. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn and utilize internal systems are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to customer satisfaction, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Regional In-Transit Claims Representative will manage claims assigned to their region, coordinating with internal teams, customers, part suppliers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful completion. They will be responsible for processing claims in a timely and professional manner, utilizing Workday and Smartsheet systems, and communicating with customers regarding claim approvals. Additionally, the representative will attend team meetings, comply with PTO processes, respond to emails, assign and complete billing of claims, and escalate complex issues to supervisors. They will also maintain accurate information in dealership sheets, order parts, and provide tech assistance as needed, while following up on railcar spotting and extractions.
