Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, and experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred. Business experience in a Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto insurance setting, along with Long Term / Short Term Disability Claims background, is also preferred. Strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and computer literacy are essential qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Disability Operations Manager will oversee and ensure the overall profitability of the regional operations center, including reaching and exceeding financial and referral goals, managing staffing efficiencies, and presenting regular reports to management. They will be responsible for planning and organizing daily activities related to production and operations, measuring productivity through data analysis, coordinating with support departments, determining labor needs, and overseeing the deposition process at the request of clients or defense counsel. Additionally, the manager will hire, train, and supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, handle discipline and termination as needed, and manage the overall production, performance, and quality of the assigned region.
