Provide leadership, guidance, direction, and assistance in connection with legal, regulatory, compliance, and business matters in Japan
Assess the needs of the business from a legal and regulatory perspective
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business colleagues to develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs
Implement written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
Lead effective training programs
Conduct internal monitoring and auditing
Direct compliance-related investigations to respond to concerns and take corrective actions
Act as a strategic business partner for senior leadership
Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks in Japan
Work with the High Growth Markets legal & compliance team to mitigate compliance risks and develop countermeasures
Conduct compliance-related investigations and implement action plans to remediate identified issues
