Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in business development within the blockchain, fintech, or financial services industries
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the blockchain industry
Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape and experience working with crypto exchanges, custodians, and asset tokenization platforms
High degree of accountability with strong ability to communicate regional progress and all outcomes to stakeholders at frequent intervals
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, with multiple stakeholders, while often working remotely
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with senior-level professionals
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive
Ability to travel as needed, representing Stellar at regional meetings and conferences

Responsibilities

Drive business development work related to SDF’s core priorities, including DeFi expansion, increasing monthly addresses, and driving asset tokenization, in coordination with Leads of each partnership vertical
Assist on regulatory and government relations needs in the region, supporting the Legal, Policy, and Government Relations teams
Assist the Ecosystem team to identify, plan, and run events in the region
Assist with coordination of all SDF activity in the region, encompassing business development, events, and policy initiatives
Support the broader partnership team and company objectives
