Regional Account Executive - Public Sector

Salary: $125K Employment Type: Full-Time Location Type: Remote (Must live local to Louisiana territory)


Position Overview

Flock Safety is seeking a motivated and established outside sales professional to join our growing Public Sector sales team as a Regional Account Executive. This role is a unique opportunity to sell an innovative technology solution that directly contributes to reducing crime and enhancing community safety. You will be responsible for a specific territory, covering the state of Louisiana, and will own demand generation, partnerships, and the full sales cycle for our software. This is a 100% remote field sales position requiring up to 50% regional travel during peak seasons.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5-7 years of full-cycle sales experience, with a strong emphasis on outside/field software sales.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and become a subject matter expert on technical products.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Sales Approach: Consultative sales approach, energized by solving customer problems.
  • Work Ethic: Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results.
  • Environment: Enjoy working in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment.
  • Startup Experience: A plus.
  • Location: Candidates must reside within the Louisiana territory.

Responsibilities (Preview of 90-Day Plan)

The First 30 Days:

  • Learn the market and understand existing customers.
  • Meet peers and understand Law Enforcement (LE) use cases.
  • Develop industry expertise to ensure territory success.
  • Pass Demo Certification to receive your Book of Accounts.
  • Engage in outbound activities beyond standard training.

The First 60 Days:

  • Build out your territory and drive pipeline.
