Responsibilities

  • Cultivate the Region talent pipeline, including oversight and development of District Leaders and RD Emerging Leaders
  • Promote inclusive District-level succession planning and staffing strategies to meet colleague and business needs, emphasizing employer brand at local pharmacy schools
  • Develop District Leader recruiting capabilities (e.g., cold calling, competitor visits, campus recruiting)
  • Oversee relationship with region training leaders for consistent delivery and completion of colleague training programs
  • Oversee District Leaders to ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling to meet customer demand, support engagement, and mitigate risks in understaffed markets
  • Create a culture of recognition, empowerment, development, and inclusion; use colleague sentiment metrics for root cause diagnosis and strategy creation
  • Identify, mentor, and develop future District and Region Leadership talent
  • Deliver timely performance reviews, coaching, and counseling for District Leaders
  • Develop and execute business plans and strategies for all performance measures (e.g., P&L, sales-to-budget, scripts-to-budget, immunizations, MCP, inventory, payroll, asset protection)
  • Proactively review business reports to derive insights on Region and District performance; use metrics for root cause diagnosis and strategy creation
