This is a full-time on-site position at Sysco Charlotte, LLC in zip code 28027 with no sales territory or travel required.
The ideal candidate will have HVAC/R schooling, RETA Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) certification, universal EPA certification, and at least six years' experience with service/maintenance of HVAC/R and large ammonia refrigeration units. Key skills include knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting, controls and electric (high and low voltage), PC and PLC-based master refrigeration control systems.
This is an Operations position responsible for managing refrigeration repair on industrial refrigerated storage equipment from 100 HP to 3,000 HP, general maintenance, and ensuring compliance with IIAR, ASHRAE, ASME, EPA, OSHA, and local codes in a regional facility setting.
A strong candidate has HVAC/R schooling, RETA CIRO certification, universal EPA certification, and at least six years of experience maintaining large ammonia refrigeration units (50-3,000 HP), with expertise in compressors, electrical troubleshooting, PLC controls, and compliance with industry standards like IIAR and OSHA.
