Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters focused on experienced hiring across GM’s U.S. manufacturing facilities
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies for salaried roles including group leaders, maintenance supervisors, engineers, and other technical and operational positions
  • Partner with HR, labor relations, and site leadership to ensure recruiting practices align with site-specific needs
  • Support the implementation and optimization of recruiting and onboarding tools across multiple sites and projects
  • Own project timelines, reporting, and financial tracking for recruiting initiatives
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to inform sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across HR, operations, and labor relations to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Lead a team with diverse skill sets and shared objectives, including individual contributors and potentially other people leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans for the team
  • Reallocate resources and reprioritize initiatives based on evolving business needs
  • Resolve sensitive issues and competing demands with professionalism and discretion
  • Drive strategy and execution of large-scale recruiting initiatives impacting multiple U.S. manufacturing sites
  • Own workforce planning, operational decisions, and delivery of KPIs
  • Champion change management and model GM’s core behaviors to build a productive and inclusive team
