HSC with Accounting
B2-French language
Degree holder or partly qualified ACCA/ACA
Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
Excellent written and communication skills in English and French
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting field
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Assist in the timely and accurate closing of books for month-end and year-end
Perform journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure financial records are accurate
Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare month-end reconciliation reports
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement line items
Analyze financial results and assist with variance analysis
Reconcile bank, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in reconciliations or accounting records
Support external auditors with audit requests and documentation
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the R2R cycle
Assist in the implementation of new tools, systems, or reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Work closely with other finance teams (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) to ensure seamless month-end close and reporting processes
Collaborate with business units to gather necessary information for accounting and reporting purposes
Provide support for special projects, audits, or analyses as requested by senior management
Assist in the continuous development of the R2R process and procedures
