Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrated experience in warehouse operations is preferred. The role requires the ability to work in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments with extreme temperatures, and the successful completion of receiving certification and testing are essential.
The Receiver will be responsible for all general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, manual depal, receiving, put-a-way, pulls, and replenishments, as well as selection of product. This includes ensuring pallets meet defined requirements, accurately entering item information into the warehouse management system, inspecting product for shortages and damage, verifying product temperatures, recording vendor compliance issues, applying blind LPNs, ensuring dock door operation, reporting repair needs, minimizing warehouse shrink/damage, maintaining work areas, reporting unsafe issues, operating MHE safely, and adhering to all safety rules.
