Requirements

Knowledge of quality compliance and manufacturing operations
Ability to monitor manufacturing operations and address quality issues quickly
Experience leading containment, purges, quality alerts, and development of inspection strategies (receiving inspection, pre-ship inspection, out-of-box audits)
Skills in creating and maintaining Certificates of Compliance, including deviation documentation
Capability to create and maintain manufacturing quality history documentation
Understanding of Plexus quality policy guidelines, customer specifications, and regulatory compliance
Ability to participate in and support regulatory and customer audits
Experience as primary interface with customers on quality matters and improving incoming inquiries to reduce RMAs
Proficiency in driving cross-functional teams for continual improvement activities
Skills in designing templates for documents, file types, and document databases

Responsibilities

Build and embed Quality Awareness in Operations by ensuring effectiveness of training and inspections
Educate operators and production associates on quality and compliance procedures
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and safety in the workplace
Serve as primary interface with customers on quality-related matters and lead efforts to reduce Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
Participate in and support regulatory and customer audits at site
Monitor own work to ensure quality standards are met, identify opportunities to improve quality, and eliminate waste, scrap, or rework
Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed
Drive proactive continuous improvement on yield and quality metrics
