Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent software testing experience/knowledge, and a minimum of 3-5 years of software testing experience in a professional software development environment. Furthermore, they should have at least 3 years’ experience in a web-based testing environment, along with experience utilizing exploratory/edge/corner testing techniques and risk-based testing.
The Quality Engineer 2 will develop and execute test cases for new product enhancements, identify areas of risk and mitigate those areas to ensure stable releases, and ensure quality criteria is met for all areas before product release. They will also debug and triage failures, escalating issues as warranted, and be responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company’s information security program. Additionally, the role involves creating and documenting examples of possible performance metrics, such as customer-reported production defects, overall test coverage, and risk-assessment for components going into a release.
