Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manual software testing with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes is required, along with familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA and a solid understanding of the SDLC and STLC. Experience in testing APIs, databases, and mobile applications is preferred, and an ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

The QC Lead will lead and manage the manual testing efforts for multiple projects across the organization, developing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. They will coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams, ensure all testing activities are carried out as per defined quality processes, track and manage defects, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members. Furthermore, the Lead will communicate test progress and results to stakeholders, contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies.
