Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year, preferably 2 years of experience
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship
  • Proficiency/good understanding in at least one programming language (Python/Java); knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell valuable
  • Knowledge of AI is a great plus
  • Understanding of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Mac), databases (e.g., SQL), and computer networks (client-server architecture, network protocols, basic system administration)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Experience with LINUX command-line environments
  • Experience with automation frameworks and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and creative thinker
  • Self-motivated (self-starter) and intellectually curious
  • Excellent communicator
  • Adaptability and learning mindset (willingness to learn new technologies, tools, methodologies; adapt to changing project requirements and dynamic environment)

Responsibilities

  • Provide automated and manual functional testing of highly visible products, new products/product features, and automated regression testing of existing functionality
  • Perform automated and manual QA testing of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud setup, configuration, and execution
  • Write, review, and update product test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and scenarios
  • Execute all tiers of testing (manual, automated, front-end, back-end), test plans, automated test scripts, and test cases to ensure software meets specified standards, development specifications, and client requirements
  • Review system requirements and business processes
  • Debug software and report issues
  • Use tools to report issues and track status
  • Build and maintain test tools and test applications for automated functional and regression testing; maintain testing tools for broader team use
  • Collaborate with development, product development, project management, operations, and implementation teams to ensure quality and timely services
  • Design test plans for new projects and ensure testing procedures are consistently followed
  • Implement testing methodology maximized to group needs
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, GenAI test generators) to speed up test case creation and script development
  • Contribute to development of internal testing tools; specialize in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Process Improvement
