Candidates should possess previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as proficiency in using spreadsheets and purchasing software. A basic understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes is considered a plus.
The Purchasing Assistant will assist in creating and processing purchase orders, communicate with vendors to verify pricing and details, track and monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate purchasing records, conduct market research for suppliers and products, resolve order and delivery issues, collaborate with the purchasing team to improve processes and reduce costs, and prepare reports on purchasing activities and inventory status.
