8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT) is seeking a Commercial Account Executive (AE) with a proven track record in selling Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions. You will be instrumental in driving and executing 8x8's market strategy, focusing on understanding the communication needs of large-scale customers and designing tailored solutions. 8x8 is a trusted provider of secure, reliable cloud-based unified communications and contact center solutions to over 50,000 businesses globally.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new business and collaborating with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to generate qualified leads.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of key differentiators, internal/external systems, sales methodologies, and processes.
  • Closing deals and managing the entire sales cycle, including price and term negotiations, to drive revenue within a specific region.
  • Selling the company’s products or services to new accounts with 100-499 total employees.
  • Possessing thorough knowledge of 8x8's products and services.
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending optimal 8x8 products and services to meet those needs.
  • Developing account-specific plans to maximize sales through effective execution of account strategy.
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues by providing appropriate resources and materials.
  • Maintaining accurate customer information in company systems.
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets.
  • Completing regular sales forecasting with accuracy.
  • Attending ongoing sales and certification training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience selling SaaS/UCaaS/CCaaS/VoIP products to customers with 100-499 employees.
  • Proven ability to close deals of moderate complexity involving multiple products.
  • Ability to independently discuss and address customer needs.
  • Deep knowledge of strategic products, particularly Contact Center solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively address customer needs with 8x8 products and services.
  • Experience working on problems of moderate scope, applying consultative analysis of customer situations.
  • Consistent forecasting accuracy and effective pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell collaboratively with key sales partners (VARs, Resellers).
  • Ability to work independently with general instructions on new assignments.
