Requirements

Candidates should possess strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills, along with experience in developing both long- and short-term advocacy strategies and tactics and coalition building with diverse interests to advance policy priorities. They should also have a solid understanding of energy and fuels policy issues and be able to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Public Policy Manager will be responsible for implementing strategies to advance the company’s legislative and political agenda, developing and refining the company’s analysis of legislative, regulatory, and other public policy activity, conducting research, and influencing key decision-makers. This role will also involve researching and monitoring government activities, assisting senior management with planning for regulatory activities, providing analysis to support the team, producing research for presentations, developing and implementing advocacy strategies, and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
