Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in proposal writing, including content planning, draft creation, proofing, and collaboration with subject matter experts. Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to effectively manage time and priorities are also required.
The Proposal Writer will facilitate the entire proposal development lifecycle, from receiving Requests for Proposal to submitting final documents. This includes analyzing client requirements, creating proposal outlines and schedules, conducting kickoff meetings, developing curated content through collaboration with subject matter experts and sales leadership, utilizing AMN’s proposal management software and content database, ensuring proper formatting and adherence to branding guidelines, and managing multiple draft review cycles with sales and executive leadership. Additionally, the Proposal Writer will complete required forms and obtain necessary signatures using DocuSign.
