Experience managing teams, projects, and (end-)customers
Assertive and able to anticipate ad-hoc situations (communicate & prioritize)
Affinity or experience in the technical sector (e.g., industry, petrochemicals, construction/infra) is a plus
Good computer skills (MS Office), especially Excel
Possession of a driver's license B
Responsibilities
Manage projects, customers, and your team
Monitor and streamline the full operational rental process – on-site and remotely – and adjust where necessary
Maintain and improve communication and collaboration with (temporary) branches, sales team, and team leaders from other departments
Act as the link between the (end-)customer and internal organization
Focus primarily on the Europoort, Botlek, and Maasvlakte areas, with less frequent visits to Moerdijk, Bergen op Zoom, and Zeeland regions
Liaise directly with TA-managers at plants of clients like ExxonMobil, Vopak, Shell, and Attero
Determine your own agenda and priorities, with approximately 50% on-site presence at projects and customer locations, and 50% at the head office in Botlek
Manage a team of 7 FTE, flexibly scaling to 15-30 employees; liaise directly with on-site executors and toolstore staff, office project coordinator and personnel planner, and report/sparring with the Project Manager Netherlands
Draft project plans with clear goals, deadlines, and resource planning
Manage individual projects in the region and ensure all project phases are executed correctly
Function as the central point of contact for customers, internal departments, and branches
Monitor project budgets and advise on cost calculations and financial progress
Identify bottlenecks and actively adjust to safeguard project objectives
Initiate process improvements and optimizations within projects and operational processes
Conduct project evaluations and share lessons learned and best practices
