Requirements

  • Ability to deputize the Project Manager in project-related events and meetings
  • Skills in supporting design, planning, and implementation of project activities with good quality and credible outcomes
  • Experience leading planning and implementation of project activities in a participatory approach with teams, partners, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in ongoing communication, collaboration, and coordination with in-country focal points, national, and global teams

  • Alertness to safeguarding risks and ability to promote strong safeguarding practices
  • Ability to adapt activity design to digital and virtual methods

Responsibilities

  • Deputize the Project Manager as necessary in project-related events and meetings
  • Support the program team in designing, planning, and implementing project activities timely with good quality
  • Lead planning and implementation of project activities in a participatory approach with project team, partners, and stakeholders
  • Lead ongoing communication, collaboration, and coordination with in-country focal points and Search teams nationally and globally
  • Support overall partnership management and develop/maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, civil society, media professionals, and external actors
  • Coordinate with operations team for safe, accessible, adequate logistical arrangements for partners and stakeholders
  • Ensure financial arrangements and documentation for activities and assist with financial/administrative compliance
  • Support Project Manager in project compliance with Search’s policies and procedures
  • Support Project Manager in management, reporting on activities, timely grant reporting, and donor compliance with local partners
  • Support Project Manager in ensuring quality, effectiveness, and impact of project activities
  • Support analysis of conflict, stabilization, peacebuilding, and social cohesion dynamics to inform activity design
  • Support designing new activities aligned with project purpose and Search’s strategy
  • Support ensuring project activities are inclusive, conflict-sensitive, and gender-sensitive
  • Remain alert to safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge/skills to promote safeguarding practices
  • Support adapting activity design to digital/virtual methods for project continuity
