Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, with Food Science being an asset
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in food manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S principles are an asset
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, project tracking software, and regulatory documentation processes
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional teams and external partners
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking for problem-solving and decision-making
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficient with MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet, and Planner platforms
  • Comfortable with data analysis, reporting, and presenting findings to senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product development projects, from concept through commercialization
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals and execution
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Oversee application testing, implementation, and operational readiness for new product initiatives
  • Monitor and report on project status, KPIs, and deliverables to leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent projects
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, milestone reviews, and post-mortems
  • Lead cross-functional teams including PD, Sales, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to maintain project momentum
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and present project dashboards and performance metrics
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
  • Manage change requests and assess impact on timelines and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
