Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, along with at least 3 years of experience in project or program management within the automotive industry, and 3+ years of experience utilizing product life cycle and risk management tools. Advanced English proficiency, including writing, reading, and speaking, is required, as is the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with cross-functional teams and at all levels of management. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will lead the design and manufacturing teams through the Aptiv development process, overseeing initial plans, setting milestones, and tracking project activities while communicating progress to stakeholders. They will work cross-functionally to establish relationships with internal and external customers, act as the primary point of contact for customer management, and drive flawless program launches, ensuring they are delivered on time, with quality, and within profitability. The role involves identifying and mitigating risks, removing roadblocks, supporting continuous improvement through Lean/I&CIM techniques, and securing appropriation requests’ approvals on time. Furthermore, the Project Manager will support new business development activities, provide financial knowledge and business acumen, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and negotiation abilities.
