Requirements

BS Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience (MS or MBA desirable); Other P.M. professional certification
Typically 10+ combined years' experience in product development and project management
Experience leading multiple teams, partnering with management to resolve conflicts and obtain resources for projects
Ability to communicate and give presentations (internally and externally)
Experience directing resources, planning project activity, and balancing financial budgets
Have led numerous product development project teams and have recognizable knowledge of detailed product development processes, either within RA or related industry
Preferred: Experience in Functional Safety Product Development projects involving IEC61508 certification and engagements with TUV Rheinland

Responsibilities

Provide project management of internal and external product developments, including planning, resourcing, scheduling, project cost forecasting/monitoring, reporting, and technical coordination across several areas
Manage multiple human resources and project finances
Develop and track detailed project plans and project schedules to meet committed Time to Market goals
Define project team's resource requirements supporting time, budget, and quality goals through negotiation with functional managers
Provide in-depth and advanced knowledge in project management discipline; responsible for financial, applied technology, and schedule performance within cost limitations and established standards
Develop project investigation and implementation schedules; facilitate work breakdown structures; manage product cost estimates
Ensure familiarity with company policies and procedures; apply them in compliance with government laws (e.g., Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, ISO 9000 & 14000, health, safety, quality, environmental regulations)
Direct, coordinate, and manage several product developments through all phases of product design, testing, and release for mass production
Provide personnel administration including technical staff coordination, resource allocation, performance feedback, staff coaching, and skill development planning
Schedule/plan and implement project management across several areas, coordinate outside development resources, and factor product acquisitions
Develop systems and present updates on progress while ensuring meeting of commitments
Help develop business and marketing strategies, optimizing product performance to achieve established business financial goals
