Requirements

Candidates must have at least five years of experience managing software-related projects within the higher education sector, including experience with ERP, CRM, and Student Information Systems like Banner, Colleague, Workday, Salesforce, or Slate. They should also have experience managing software enhancements, maintenance programs, and new releases, possess exceptional written and oral communication and critical thinking skills, and be proficient in project management tools such as Smartsheet. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, the ability to manage multiple projects for different clients simultaneously, and be willing to work from home with approximately 25% travel. Preferred qualifications include previous consulting or professional services experience and a PMP or Smartsheet certification.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will provide comprehensive leadership for assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This includes tracking and reporting on project budgets, establishing project plans, scheduling and managing SIG and client resources, and working with clients to assign appropriate resources and manage implementation teams. The role also involves providing advisory services for change management, tracking project progress, providing regular status reports to executives, escalating project issues and potential setbacks, and developing risk management plans with clients.
