Requirements

10+ years of development and project management experience within the hospitality industry
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance or a related field
Experience as an Owner’s Representative or Project Manager representing the fiduciary interests of the real estate developer or investor
Skilled at managing project teams successfully through all phases of the development and construction process
Knowledgeable with regard to project pro formas, including development budgets, operations (revenues, expenses, cash flows) and resulting financial metrics (return on cost, IRR, etc.)
Skills in managing successful projects and consistently meeting/exceeding client expectations and deadlines
Thorough understanding of project controls, project management, construction documentation and sequencing
Working knowledge of alternate materials/methods, construction costs, value-engineering techniques and building/occupancy laws and lease requirements
Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Discretion in handling confidential information
Adept at developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and other development, design and construction professionals

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface with PMA clients
Lead the client and project team through a successful process of strategic real estate planning, design and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments
