Employment Type: Freelance (1099) Location Type: Remote (most U.S. states, some exclusions apply) Estimated Commitment: 20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 30-40 hours. Engagement Duration: Through October, with potential extension to year-end.

Position Overview

Wpromote is seeking a skilled Programmatic Manager to launch, oversee, and manage programmatic advertising campaigns for our clients. This role involves daily management and optimization of paid media campaigns across various programmatic platforms. We are looking for a proactive individual with prior experience across different verticals. Proven experience and a strong track record may lead to opportunities working with our largest brands. You will be responsible for overseeing all account activity, collaborating with managers from other channels, and developing campaign strategies for your assigned clients.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Manage client Display, Shopping, Video, and retargeting advertising campaigns, including strategy development, project management, report delivery, and client communication.
  • Technology Management: Manage technology vendor relationships and oversee the implementation and/or integration of programmatic technologies.
  • Account Oversight: Create and manage a portfolio of accounts in DV360, The Trade Desk, and other relevant platforms, including campaign creation, trafficking, and optimization.
  • Analysis & Optimization: Analyze campaign results and adjust strategy and budgets accordingly. Implement optimizations across all marketing channels to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Brand Lift and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) to achieve maximum effectiveness.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about current and new DSP functionality or data products, and successfully deploy them on relevant campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3 years in a hands-on role managing Programmatic campaigns at an agency, FMP/Social Ads API Platform, or DSP.
  • Campaign Scope: Experience managing full-funnel campaigns with varying KPIs for awareness, consideration, and conversion within a DSP, including performance reporting.
  • Programmatic Expertise: Advanced understanding of programmatic buying (DSP) and audience segmentation (DMP).
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the programmatic industry and various buying models.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of display, video, social, and/or DSP partners, and external data or media providers (e.g., DV360, TTD, Data Xu, Media Math, LiveRamp).
  • Cross-Channel Experience: Expertise in cross-channel and cross-device tracking, optimization, and attribution.
  • Ad Trafficking: Advanced experience with ad trafficking; Campaign Manager experience is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly rate for this role will be $33.00/hr - $45.00/hr. This rate is determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. Pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget.
