Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
  • Plus 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the refurbishment program for returned units
  • Track and report weekly metrics, including the number of units received, processed, and ready for shipment
  • Collaborate with third-party refurbishment providers to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of operations
  • Identify opportunities to optimize unit processing throughput (UPH) and minimize costs per unit
  • Ensure all returned units undergo appropriate testing, cleaning, and repackaging processes
  • Develop and improve procedures for mechanical testing, including system-level testing and debugging
  • Manage the repair process for damaged units and ensure efficient handling and troubleshooting of complex technical and mechanical issues
  • Monitor and analyze refurbishment costs to develop strategies for reducing expenses while increasing productivity
  • Provide detailed reports to upper management on program performance, cost control, and improvement strategies
