Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, technology, business, or a related technical field. A minimum of 3-4 years of prior experience in a project management or related position is required. Strong experience in cross-department project coordination, organizational and prioritization skills, facilitation experience, and interpersonal and communication skills, including technical writing, are essential. The ability to influence project assessment, planning, design, development, and implementation processes, work effectively with both external client managers and internal business, technical, and operational teams, help spin-up new teams, determine effective project management methodologies, and apply analytical skills to evaluate technical and system problems is also necessary.
The Professional Services Sr. Project Manager will provide project management support for moderately complex projects with a diverse client base, working with client stakeholders to understand business and process issues and identify how Vonage can assist. They will collaborate with cross-functional Vonage stakeholders to define project plans and scope, and support all aspects of project planning and execution, including requirements gathering, chartering, scope definition, resource estimation, staffing, risk and change management, close-out, and reporting. Responsibilities also include facilitating communication, ensuring client needs are addressed, preparing project-related communication and presentation packages, monitoring metrics and reporting on progress, ensuring consistency with Vonage standards, participating in post-project evaluations, and identifying process improvement strategies.
