Requirements

Broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies, and tools in Core & Edge (C&E) or Routing & Switching
Expertise in designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and debugging systems, software, and solutions for Juniper Network Products
Ability to hold design and information-gathering workshops to understand customer’s existing network design
Skills to identify, research, and resolve technical problems of diverse scope, evaluating identifiable factors and exercising judgment in methods
Experience assisting customers/partners in troubleshooting network design, architecture issues, and analyzing network/device configurations
Capability to work internally with Juniper SE and Engineering teams to relay and drive functionality requirements specific to customer environments
Ability to act as a technical liaison between customer, resident engineers, and Juniper Technical Assistance Centre to optimize networks
Experience working closely with colleagues and customer personnel to test, design, and plan deployments of new products and features
Technical consulting skills for major network deployments and migrations, including delivery of Professional Services milestones
Ability to create high-level and low-level design documentation, migration planning, product integration, and acceptance
Flexibility for schedule to interface with global colleagues and hybrid work (average 2 days per week from HPE office)

Responsibilities

Hold design and information-gathering workshops with the customer to understand existing network design
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems of diverse scope
Assist customer/partner in troubleshooting network design and architecture issues, analyzing network and device configurations
Work internally with Juniper SE and Engineering team to relay and drive functionality requirements specific to customer environment
Work closely with other resident engineers, customer, and Juniper Technical Assistance Centre to optimize the network
Act as customer technical liaison for Juniper Networks support and development teams
Work closely with colleagues and customer personnel to test, design, and plan deployments of new products and features
Serve as Technical Consultant for major network deployments and migrations, delivering Professional Services milestones
Create high-level and low-level design documentation, migration planning, product integration, and acceptance
Provide deployment guidance to ensure successful implementations
