Professional Landscape Architect (RLA) or equivalent license required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture required
At least 10 years of related experience required

Responsibilities

Perform technical design of jobs (urban design, public space design, land development, recreation projects, etc.) from schematic design through construction document phase
Develop design plans for urban planning, park, and urban design projects
Articulate ideas through hand sketching and delineation
Perform the required evaluation, selection, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to meet the project needs
Prepare renderings, maps, and report graphics
Perform site analysis
Prepare construction documents
Assist in master plan analysis
Assist in writing proposals and technical presentations
Deliver presentations at public meetings
Research existing land use
Prepare project specifications
Research and complete permits as necessary
Estimate construction costs
Document design changes and communications
Attend council or commission meetings
Observe work in progress on-site as needed
Prepare design cost estimates
Prepare project status reports
Attend various meetings (client, pre-design, pre-construction, staff, public, etc.)
Maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
