Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a Florida Professional Engineer license, and between ten to fifteen years of experience in design and project/task management. Knowledge of local, state, and national permitting, as well as CADD proficiency, is required. A Project Manager Certification is preferred, and a Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is considered a plus.
The Professional Engineer will manage and provide technical support for transportation/roadway design projects, including stormwater, potable water, and wastewater, alongside general municipal civil engineering projects. Responsibilities include project proposal development, project execution, resource management, client coordination, ensuring project engineer proficiency, maintaining client relationships, generating sales, supervising project reviews, developing applications and reports, and attending meetings. They will also assist with project reports and technical presentations, and maintain a safe working environment.
