Requirements

Ability to work midnight shift (Sunday to Thursday 22:30-6:30 EST) full time
Energetic and hard-working
Calm, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to move quickly, address questions, encourage teammates, and meet quality and time standards
Comfortable with constant or intermittent exposure to elevated noise levels
Ability to work around equipment, machinery, and belts
Compliance with dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask, boots (additional PPE when cleaning)

Responsibilities

Mix batches of intravenous solution
Perform set-up, adjustments, and troubleshooting of equipment to produce quality product safely and efficiently
Make solution filters and connect pumps and filters to the proper filling line
Clean tanks, pipework, and all other equipment used in the department
Weigh out chemicals, sanitize, and set up equipment to ensure smooth materials and parts flow
Provide oversight to the Solution Transmission System (STS) by troubleshooting equipment and system issues across all 3 shifts
Perform PM’s (preventive maintenance), generate work orders, and CWR’s (change work requests) as requested
Observe overall mixing operation to ensure machines function according to specifications and make necessary adjustments
Requisition chemicals using JDE, verify correct chemicals and quantities issued, and document weights through EBR or router
Perform tank calibrations
Perform complete changeovers when required
Prepare tanks for mixing by disposing of remaining solution according to environmental specifications
