Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust Kiefel machine using HMI controls or manual adjustments
  • Load and replenish production supplies (e.g., injection sites, tubing, PVC/Non-PVC roll stock, adhesive) at production rates
  • Perform scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identify deviations, and take action including stopping production if necessary
  • Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met
  • Load and secure finished product in mobile closets
  • Execute machine changeovers (material changeovers only) when assigned
  • Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system
  • Identify, correct, or escalate machine performance inefficiencies
  • Test, inspect, and package Inter-Plant Shipping Orders (IPSO)
  • Notify supervisor and take appropriate action for safety, quality, or mechanical issues
  • Learn, understand, and apply quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
