Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal forming or fabrication
  • Strong understanding of takt time, lean manufacturing, and production scheduling
  • Familiarity with metal forming processes such as laser cutting, brake press operation, welding, and painting is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including walking and standing for extended periods
  • Must adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage takt time across all production stages including laser cutting, brake press forming, single point welding, MIG welding, painting, and door modification
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and line leads to balance workloads and minimize bottlenecks
  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Coordinate scheduling to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality standards
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects
  • Communicate takt time goals and updates to production teams to ensure alignment
  • Assist in training staff on takt time concepts and best practices
  • Work closely with quality control and maintenance teams to address issues impacting production flow
  • Generate regular reports on production performance metrics related to takt time
