Requirements

2+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in a leadership or team lead capacity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and motivate teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on results and continuous improvement
Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies
Ability to travel 10% of the time to other Cytiva manufacturing locations in the US and worldwide, as required
Ability to access gauges and equipment 5-6 feet off the ground, lift and move up to 50 lb
Ability to wear all necessary PPE which could include respirator, air hood, hearing protection, etc

Responsibilities

Drive improvements in line with defined KPI targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity/Cost
Ensure optimal staffing levels through managing and coordinating work schedules and strategically driving employee training
Focus on high product quality by adhering to internal procedures, maintaining full product traceability, and ensuring compliance with the quality management system
Lead and support the daily operations of the value stream, ensuring alignment with KPI targets and production goals
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members
Manage a team of associates, including staffing, training, development, scheduling, and performance feedback
Drive operational excellence through the application of DBS tools such as 5S, Daily Management, and Problem-Solving Process
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processes
Ensure compliance with quality management systems and support audit readiness
