Requirements

Compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
Ability to retain responsibility for product from initial assembly to final distribution
Capability to schedule and organize assigned manufacturing lines to achieve 100% product availability and maintain targeted inventory levels
Experience monitoring daily work metrics and providing direction/guidance to skilled nonexempt staff
Strong communication skills to engage daily with line personnel while maintaining constant line presence
Ability to motivate and energize personnel for top performance
Knowledge of maintaining a safe work environment with 100% training and compliance to procedures
Skills in achieving department attendance targets with immediate feedback
Ability to communicate with other departments/functions to meet operational objectives
Oversight of personnel and processes to ensure quality standards and full compliance with regulations
Responsiveness to internal/external business/industry indicators
Ability to monitor and report financial performance of production lines
Experience developing direct reports through training, challenging tasks, rewards, and disciplinary action
Support for implementing new customer-focused processes per lean principles, including training/coaching on standard work, 5S, and housekeeping

Provide team leadership in day-to-day activities for assigned production area/work group
Develop and implement production process excellence activities
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in production processes
Plan tasks and solutions
Report to functional/organizational management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity
Schedule and organize manufacturing lines for 100% product availability and targeted inventories
