Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nutrition, Technology or Engineering, or
  • Demonstrable long-term work experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Yellow Belt LSS (Green Belt is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Direct, delegate, and train the assigned department in accordance with all internal and external EHS and GMP regulations, taking responsibility for departmental budget and production results with focus on the 5 C's, including (strategic) planning, allocation, and safeguarding of departmental objectives
  • Present and implement the vision and strategy by investigating, selecting, and introducing new technologies and work methods, while maintaining departmental output
  • Manage, support, and keep team members deployable by stimulating continuous improvement while monitoring the departmental budget
  • Prepare for and actively participate in internal and external quality audits, incident investigation, and reporting; linked to the timely execution of corrective and preventive measures
  • Stimulate and report continuous improvement activities through data collection, trend analysis, and continuous improvement of KPIs
  • Manage the expected volume and critical KPIs as defined by the division
  • Support the development of departmental budgets and standards, including updates and CIPs; also promote departmental awareness of product costs, profitability, and cash flow
  • Participate in and coordinate improvement projects for (process) optimization within the own department, aimed at improving the quality and safety of production lines
  • Act as full deputy for the Franchise Lead in their absence for daily activities
  • Support the Franchise Lead in the LRP
