Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience managing field crews in landscape maintenance
  • Turf care and mow management of multiple crews is strongly desired
  • Strong knowledge of plant identification, pruning, irrigation systems, and equipment operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Aspire software experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Smart Irrigation Systems (Hydrawise preferred)
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Procure and coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for maximum efficiency
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and budget standards
  • Instruct daily activities and productivity of maintenance crews
  • Ensure proper execution of company policies, procedures, and work standards across all job sites
  • Provide clear daily instructions and schedules to crew leaders
  • Review and verify job reports for accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date records of crew members and jobsite assignments
  • Conduct site walkthroughs with Account Managers to ensure work meets expectations and highlight enhancement opportunities
  • Troubleshoot irrigation issues and resolve customer service concerns effectively
  • Prepare and implement best practices for the maintenance and care of landscape installations
  • Assist in the development of new techniques and procedures to improve field efficiency and overall service delivery
