Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of related medical device experience
  • Preferred: 5 years of related manufacturing experience
  • Preferred: Medical device, sub-assembly, or cleanroom manufacturing experience
  • Preferred: Leadership or backup leadership experience
  • Ability to do small assembly work using a microscope
  • Knowledge of basic measuring techniques including scales, rulers, US and metric measurement
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of assemblers to meet daily production goals
  • Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Train new team members on assembly procedures, tools, and safety protocols
  • Perform and inspect assembly tasks to ensure quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operations
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and team performance
  • Promote a safe, organized work environment and enforce company policies
  • Act as the primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and process improvement suggestions
