Requirements

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:00 am to 6:00 pm) with rotating schedule (every other weekend off)
Work at Casa Grande, AZ location
Follow company Sanitation SOPs, FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures
Capability to operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, vacuums, etc
Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment
May be trained and asked to work in other areas as needed

Responsibilities

Ensure assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes
Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and areas of the plant according to job standards
Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and food processing facilities
Operate specialized equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) to perform job functions
Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces, and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures
Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility
Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval
Remove trash/garbage for the facility; mop as needed; clean floor drains and exterior areas
Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation
Wash and maintain cleaning carts and tools
Maintain all sanitation related equipment (e.g., automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning tools)
Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor
Keep cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand, and organized
