Requirements

  • BS in Chemistry required (MSc or PhD advantageous)
  • Proven experience in highly technical, hands-on LC or LC-MS instrumentation
  • Outstanding troubleshooting abilities, with experience of field work
  • Comfortable in creating, maintaining, and improving databases and knowledge centres
  • Strong communication skills in a remote environment
  • Ability to explain complex technical information to a variety of user profiles
  • Proven capability to interact with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Ability to perform punctual on-site visits (domestic travel may be required)

Responsibilities

  • Provides troubleshooting support to customers, resolves and/or escalates customer issues & complaints to ensure users’ success with Chromatography Consumables
  • Works expertly in a customer-facing environment engaging the correct internal company resources to solve customers’ challenges
  • Collaboratively reviews installation resources and Thermo Fisher Scientific deliverables with internal resources, specialists, and customers to increase number of ‘first time right installations’ post-sale
  • Provides continuous feedback to the product management team on Chromatography Consumables performance, and contributes to future product developments
