Requirements

BS in Chemistry required (MSc or PhD advantageous)
Proven experience in highly technical, hands-on LC or LC-MS instrumentation
Outstanding troubleshooting abilities, with experience of field work
Comfortable in creating, maintaining, and improving databases and knowledge centres
Strong communication skills in a remote environment
Ability to explain complex technical information to a variety of user profiles
Proven capability to interact with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Ability to perform punctual on-site visits (domestic travel may be required)

Responsibilities

Provides troubleshooting support to customers, resolves and/or escalates customer issues & complaints to ensure users’ success with Chromatography Consumables
Works expertly in a customer-facing environment engaging the correct internal company resources to solve customers’ challenges
Collaboratively reviews installation resources and Thermo Fisher Scientific deliverables with internal resources, specialists, and customers to increase number of ‘first time right installations’ post-sale
Provides continuous feedback to the product management team on Chromatography Consumables performance, and contributes to future product developments
