Requirements

3+ years as a Product Owner in Agile environments, preferably with large software or data teams
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data platforms
Coding knowledge and understanding of AI is a plus but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex requirements into clear user stories and epics
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
Proficiency in tools like JIRA and data analysis platforms
Desirable: Experience in energy markets or commodity pricing, with a strong understanding of benchmarking methodologies, price discovery processes, and market dynamics
Desirable: Familiarity with price reporting, index development, or commodity data analysis (e.g., oil, gas, petrochemicals, metals, or renewables)
Desirable: Ability to interpret and apply benchmarking frameworks to support product development, pricing strategies, or regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritise the squad's product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with a Senior Product Manager and internal stakeholders across product, technology, data to gather requirements and manage dependencies
Vision & Roadmap: Communicate the platform vision and product roadmap, translating strategic objectives into actionable tasks from the product function into tech
Agile Leadership: Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver features, enhancements, and fixes across a platform. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and platform quarterly planning
Governance & Quality: Maintain ICIS data quality, compliance, and accessibility
Performance Monitoring: Use data to measure product performance, test with stakeholders, and iterate based on feedback
