Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with a product delivery track record, being able to influence stakeholders across teams, build robust partnerships, and possess deep domain or technical expertise
  • Demonstrable experience solving complexity and contributing to strategy with analytical rigor (e.g. prioritization and trade-offs for complex product initiatives, aligning with strategic company goals)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum and/or Kanban)
  • Ability to model strong collaboration skills and building high-trust, high-performance environments, removing blockers across teams
  • Exhibits strong technical acumen, able to understand and contribute to technical discussions with engineering teams. Understands feasibility and can make smart product choices aligned with technology impact
  • Experience in scoping, budgeting, scheduling and delivering complex project implementations

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle for large features and capabilities of Dow Jones's content management and newsroom planning tools – from discovery, to crafting a product strategy, to developing and rolling out capabilities, to monitoring key metrics
  • Work closely with engineering and design partners, feature teams, and stakeholders from multiple newsrooms and data products to ensure successful platform development and implementation across our B2B portfolio
  • Guide newsrooms and content and data groups through the process of onboarding onto Publishing Systems tools, including assessing their workflow needs and building out milestones that ensure their product is set up for success (including any necessary change management across tools and workflows, content migrations, and newsroom training)
