Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution. Outcome-first to drive the most value for products
  • Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and balance future opportunities with immediate needs. Able to empathise with different customer types, from developers to end-users
  • End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive the ongoing success of a product. Experience taking products from ideation to execution and scaling existing ones
  • Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders across multiple verticals in product, engineering, design, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills
  • Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences
  • Technically literate, with experience working with technical products highly desirable (e.g., APIs, DBs, SDKs, or Infra; technical and developer-first products)
  • Experience working with mobile technologies highly desirable (but not necessary)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a set of products under the Consumer pillar, enabling merchants to take a wide variety of payments within their website and mobile apps
  • Build out a strategy for payment experience at Checkout.com, including optimising existing products for best payment conversion to deliver best-in-class merchant and consumer experience
  • 10x the usage of the existing product suite whilst defining and ideating on net-new and greenfield mobile products
  • Be an expert in the payment experience space, informing strategy to offer merchants a best-in-class solution
  • Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders to generate buy-in and collaboration for mobile products
  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with cross-functional roadmaps that relate to the mobile world
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers (end-customers, developers, and businesses themselves)
  • Build strong relationships across the network, particularly with engineering, and foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles
