Requirements

  • Ability to discover, develop, and evaluate new product ideas, enhance existing products, or strategic extensions
  • Capability to translate research discoveries into usable features
  • Experience leading, planning, and tracking all phases of the product life cycle from inception to introduction
  • Skills in appraising new product ideas for customer needs and business benefits
  • Proficiency in establishing product requirements and coordinating with stakeholders (Business Owners, Design, Development, End Users)
  • Ability to work under general direction, lead projects, and oversee day-to-day responsibilities
  • Knowledge of privacy, security, inclusivity, accessibility, sustainability, reliability, and ethical design for documentation

Responsibilities

  • Identify new experiences and platform opportunities to support specific KPIs or business objectives
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog for development by product engineering teams
  • Work closely with Product Management to ensure product backlog aligns with business value or ROI
  • Provide insights on how experiences and platforms can improve KPIs and meet consumer needs
  • Conduct feasibility assessments for business cases, including experience and platform usability
  • Represent user insights on existing platforms and surface options to solve consumer pain points
  • Extrapolate business requirements into experience and platform (product) requirements and priorities
  • Identify user stories, criteria, and processes for evaluating new functionality for the core platform
  • Facilitate build vs. buy decision-making to support core experience and platform strategy
  • Establish reporting structures to track customer behavior, align data sources, ensure single source of data, and document data flows
  • Evaluate prototypes to identify experiences and platform functionality for incorporation
