Responsibilities

  • Map Jellyfish’s ecosystem of competitors, partners, and adjacent tools
  • Track how AI technologies and startups are reshaping customer expectations and workflows
  • Identify gaps, opportunities, and threats in the engineering management space
  • Conduct deep research into competitive product offerings, messaging, pricing, and positioning
  • Provide executive-ready deliverables (briefings, battlecards, trend analyses)
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and GTM
  • Help shape product direction by ensuring strategy is grounded in market realities
  • Influence decision-making with crisp, data-backed recommendations
  • Leverage technical background to evaluate shifting developer workflows and key integrations/partnerships
