Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Product Manager on SaaS enterprise products or platforms with technically complex solutions (experience working on scientifically-informed data and products preferred)
  • Strong interest in science, particularly in biology
  • PhD in biology (or related field) and/or experience and knowledge of Biological Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, etc.) or equivalent (very strong asset)
  • Proven track record in bringing clarity to a complex domain and driving alignment between technical and data teams, and the rest of the company
  • Successfully taken new features from conception through launch to adoption, engagement, and retention
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes over outputs
  • Prior experience in enterprise client-facing roles ideal but not required; experience interacting directly with highly technical stakeholders essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills: deal with ambiguity, lead discovery efforts, prioritize, and drive execution on objectives ensuring they ladder up to key strategies
  • Data-informed decision-making process; ability to identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from data

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and roadmap for the experimental design and validation offering, including further innovation and optimization of existing features and functionality
  • Drive execution as part of a cross-functional team focused on this product (including Design, Engineering, Science, Data, and Project Management)
  • Translate customer needs into user, technical, and data requirements and related resources; iterate quickly on the product
  • Measure and report key metrics to internal stakeholders to demonstrate the value created by the team
