Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in payments, FX, or financial services, with at least 5 years in product leadership
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling payment products in Brazil or LATAM
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payment flows, FX settlement, and treasury operations
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations with global and regional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Multilingual (Portuguese and English required, Spanish is a plus)
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for international payments in Brazil (preferred)
  • Strong network within the payments ecosystem (banks, fintechs, regulators) (preferred)
  • Ability to anticipate market trends and translate them into actionable strategy (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the cross-border payments product vision and roadmap for Brazil, aligned with global strategy
  • Monitor regulatory developments, FX trends, and emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, digital wallets, DCC)
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment (e.g., BACEN, AML, KYC)
  • Develop business cases for new product initiatives and enhancements
  • Launch and scale cross-border payment products for pay-in and payout use cases
  • Build partnerships with banks, fintechs, PSPs, and global platforms (e.g., marketplaces, gig economy)
  • Drive integration of APIs and data assets to enable real-time, low-cost, and secure transactions
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product features, documentation, and training
  • Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory discussions
