Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in payments, FX, or financial services, with at least 5 years in product leadership
- Proven track record of launching and scaling payment products in Brazil or LATAM
- Strong understanding of cross-border payment flows, FX settlement, and treasury operations
- Experience working in matrixed organizations with global and regional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Multilingual (Portuguese and English required, Spanish is a plus)
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for international payments in Brazil (preferred)
- Strong network within the payments ecosystem (banks, fintechs, regulators) (preferred)
- Ability to anticipate market trends and translate them into actionable strategy (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the cross-border payments product vision and roadmap for Brazil, aligned with global strategy
- Monitor regulatory developments, FX trends, and emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, digital wallets, DCC)
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment (e.g., BACEN, AML, KYC)
- Develop business cases for new product initiatives and enhancements
- Launch and scale cross-border payment products for pay-in and payout use cases
- Build partnerships with banks, fintechs, PSPs, and global platforms (e.g., marketplaces, gig economy)
- Drive integration of APIs and data assets to enable real-time, low-cost, and secure transactions
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product features, documentation, and training
- Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory discussions
