Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational aspects for tasks related to keeping the business running
  • Manage new project intake and perform feasibility of such requests
  • Leverage cross-functional teams to manage different project types including gross margin initiatives, regulatory requirements, process improvements, and others
  • Oversee all escalations to the business unit and drive execution to reduce business impact
  • Lead recurring cross-functional core team meetings to track task executions
  • Prepare agenda, facilitate discussion, take and distribute meeting minutes
  • Monitor known risks and escalate both technical and logistical roadblocks
  • Facilitate working sessions among core team members
  • Develop and manage established project schedules to maintain metrics for project scorecards
  • Organize documentation updates to the Design History File (DHF) and execute associated change control in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Lead or leverage cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
  • Manage the development and implementation process of company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
  • Monitor the project from initiation through delivery
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
  • Gather requirements, work on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders
  • Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems
  • Oversee area of responsibility, manage program/team performance, communicate project and operational developments, plan, prioritize, and/or direct the responsibilities of program team members
