🚀 About Strapi

Strapi is a leading open-source Headless CMS that empowers developers and content creators to build, manage, and scale their digital experiences. Our mission is to make content management simpler, more flexible, and accessible for everyone. Join our innovative and collaborative team as we continue to grow and shape the future of digital content.

🎯 About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to craft intuitive, elegant, and user-centered experiences that elevate how people interact with Strapi. As part of cross-functional product squads, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to solve users problems, shape solutions, and ensure our product is both delightful and impactful.

Design is in Strapi’s DNA. From day one, we have believed that great UX and UI are critical to building best-in-class products. You’ll play a key role in turning complex technical workflows into simple, accessible, and engaging experiences for our users. You’ll have a direct impact on how our product looks, feels, and functions.

🔍 What You Will Do

  • Collaborate in squads with PMs and Engineers to define, shape, and deliver product features.
  • Understand user needs through research, interviews, and data analysis.
  • Design and prototype solutions that solve real user problems and align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineers to validate technical feasibility and optimize implementation.
  • Translate technical complexity into simple, user-friendly interactions.
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity across all user experiences.
  • Engage with our community and internal users to validate ideas and gather feedback.
  • Support and evolve our design system in collaboration with other designers.
  • Benchmark our competitors and stay on top of product and design trends.

📌 What You Need to Succeed in This Role

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer or in a similar role.
  • Strong empathy for users and a humble, open-minded attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills—clear, thoughtful, and collaborative.
  • Comfortable receiving constructive feedback and being challenged.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Strapi, etc.).
  • A technical sensibility—you don’t need to code, but you should be comfortable discussing technical constraints with engineers.
  • A data-informed mindset—you know how to interpret analytics and use insights to guide decisions (even if not every decision is based on data).
  • Experience working with and contributing to a design system would be a strong bonus.
